A couple of months ago a dear friend of mine told me that “new beginnings sometimes require endings” (EC). When she told me this, we were both making some very difficult decisions in our lives. With that said, I want you to understand, difficult doesn’t always mean just bad or hard. In both our cases the difficult decisions meant stepping out on faith, totally relying on God, trusting Him to show His perfect will for our lives. This is the second time in my life this has happened and in both instances, God has put His arms around me and has given me the peace and strength to walk through the journey. He has given me gifts and talents I didn’t know I possessed. He has shown me how to turn my pain into passion. I don’t know the future, I don’t even know what tomorrow holds, but what I do know, is that GOD IS SUFFIENT AND HE WILL SUPPLY ALL OUR NEEDS!
I also believe that God prepares us for these times without us even realizing it. Three years ago, both my daughters were nearing the end of their college Volleyball careers. What does this have to do with new beiginnings you say? Well….. I told Craig (my hubby) I wanted to get a professional camera so we would have great pictures of them playing. I really had no idea what I was saying, or how to even use the camera. Craig thought it was a wonderful idea so off to the store I went. I purchased a camera and lens which I quickly found out was not capable of capturing the quality of pictures I wanted. If you know anything about photography, you know that indoor sports are some of the most difficult picutres to take. So, I sold it and bought gear that would do the job (a Canon 50d, and a 70-200 2.8f lens). I started on a journey with a passion for photography asking LOTS of questions, taking LOTS of pictures, and spending LOTS of hrs researching and reading on the internet, learning the craft. He was preparing and equipping me. I have a long way to go, but I know God isn’t finished with me yetMy desire with this passion and love for photography is to help create beautiful memories for expectant mommys and daddys, infants, children, engaged couples, bride and gooms, seniors, athletes, or just about any occasion you can think of. I invite you to join me on my journey and give me a call or shoot me an e-mail if you will allow me to help record your memories through photography. Just a few pics to show you where I started…….. and later some recent pics to show where God has brought me in a very short time.
Because of Him,
Yvonne (Jeremiah 29:11)
